Aging in place is a term used to describe a person

living in the residence of their choice, for as long

as they are able, as they age.  While aging in place

a person has to plan for life changing  events that

may affect your finances, housing options, health

care, physical and emotional well being. 


Learn about evaluating your needs,  determining

physical and cognitive status, and exploring

housing options.

The University of Maryland Family Care Resource and Referral Service is a free service for employees and students concerned with the ever-increasing child care and elder care responsibilities that face families.  The service provides students, faculty and staff with FREE consultations and seminars on information and resources to assist with their family care needs
