TLTC-Workshop Making group-work work: designing successful group work and converting skeptical students

Event Description:
Want to use group work in your class, but scared of a student revolt?  Thinking about trying out team-based learning and worried about some students doing all the work and others not doing any?  Just not sure where to start to get do group work in your class?  Come out and learn more about designing more effective groupwork, how to divide students into more cohesive teams, deal with conflict and how to design assessments that are more likely to work with your groups.  

The TLTC's Sabrina Kramer will be joined by Kylie King, Program Director of the QUEST honors program and David Yager from the Neuroscience Department.
